Oscar Seal

I’m Oscar Seal and I am running to be your Yorkshire Young Labour Rep. Over the last 2 years I have been heavily involved across Yorkshire; on the doors, running Hull Uni Labour Club and working for MPs in Hull and Barnsley. 2026 promises to be a vital year for our region.

We have crucial local elections in May, with all-outs in Barnsley and Wakefield, as well as hundreds of councillors up right across the towns, villages and cities in our region.
I will foster a positive and inclusive campaigning culture where young members can help keep Labour at the table and fight the threat of Reform.

One of my key priorities will be to break down barriers and end accessibility issues for young members to attend events right across our region. We already have brilliant Young Labour groups, and I want to unite them together, organise new groups and ensure that everyone can get the most out of being a young member.

I owe all of the opportunities I have had to the hard-working members in this region and now I want the chance to give back. I will make sure all our young members get brilliant opportunities, no matter where in our region you are.
