For South East Representative

2026 is an important year for the South East, we have elections across the region next year from Milton Keynes down to the coast in Southampton. All these places deserve Labour administrations that listen to residents and work tirelessly to support and engage their communities. For that we need to ensure that South East Young Labour is ready to campaign through doorstep training and campaign days up and down the region. I became the Youth Officer in 2023 for my home CLP so I know how important local engagement of young members is and I am proud to have played a part in setting up so many of our incredible South East Young Labour branches.
Having been re-elected for a second term as Vice Chair of South East Young Labour I’m keen to carry on the work that I have started whether that be campaigning across our region or supporting young members through training sessions on how to become a young councillor; trips to Parliament and International Women’s Day Panels. I want young members to feel empowered to use their voice on the doorstep and at social events.
As your South East Representative I will:
Ensure that South East Young Labour has a travel and opportunity fund
Focus on getting more women and non-binary members involved
Engage with our incredible Youth Officers through training sessions and events
Facilitate open conversations about policy that have inclusion at their core
Campaign, campaign, campaign
