For North West Representative
L1623764
I’m running for North West Representative to bring energy, organisation,
and a winning focus to Young Labour. As Warrington’s youngest councillor,
I’ve shown how we turn values into action: leading grassroots campaigns,
mobilising volunteers under pressure, and defeating Reform in a tightly
contested local election. I know what it takes to organise, persuade, and win.
My politics are rooted in solidarity. I first stood on a picket line aged eight
alongside my dad, learning early that progress is made through collective
action. Those lessons led me to join the Labour Party and continue to shape
my work today. As a teaching assistant supporting children with complex
needs, I live these values every day: meeting people where they are, valuing
every voice, and turning shared principles into practical change.
I’ve seen first-hand the damage and division Reform brings to communities
across the North West, and I know we can’t underestimate the far right or
the populism of the hard left. Young Labour must be confident, outward-
facing, and focused on winning for working people. We can build a
movement that campaigns effectively, trains new organisers, and puts
young people’s priorities front and centre.
I bring experience from grassroots campaigning and local government. As
Vice-Chair of my council’s Housing Policy Committee, I’ve championed
affordable housing and renters’ rights, and I’ve worked with Labour Women’s
Network to engage younger members. I want to be a bridge between Young
Labour and the wider party, helping us organise with confidence and win
together.
