When I first thought of putting myself forward for Labour Students elections, I knew that if ever, it would always be the North West Rep. Students in our region must be organised to beat Reform. I joined the Labour party because I want to help people in my local community and region — it was a no-brainier.


I am making 3 Guarantees to You that will be delivered if I have the privilege of being your Chair. No ifs, no buts.


If you’re elected as a society Co-chair, you deserve a seat on the regional and national table. That is fair and right. That’s why I will convene a North West Council of Labour Students’ Co-chairs.


Students bring a unique perspective and have the very best ideas. I want to hear them, I want you to have opportunities. That’s why I’d convene Policy Groups in areas of YOUR choice. As an Ambassador for Action for Children and RASA Merseyside, I’m biased — i’d instantly say Child Poverty and Women’s Safety. But I want you to choose.


Lastly, safety. Yes, just that one word. Students deserve to live free of fear. Campuses, accommodations and nights where they can live without having to look over their shoulder way too often. That’s what I will work across the region with and Labour clubs to deliver.


I would be eternally grateful to have your vote. Let’s not only work together for students in our region, but organise and beat wretched Reform.
