For South West Representative

I am standing for Chair of South West Labour Students because I have the experience, organisational ability, and campaigning record needed to strengthen Labour Students across the region.

I am a first year student at the University of Bristol and currently serve on the committee of Bristol University Labour Society as Secretary. Alongside this, I am Chair of Trafford Young Labour and a former Secretary of the Labour Housing Group North West. Across these roles, I have organised events, led campaigning teams, and worked to ensure members remain active and engaged beyond election periods. I understand how Labour organisations succeed when they are outward facing, well coordinated, and rooted in real political work.

My first priority is decentralising Labour Students away from London by building a strong network of South West Labour societies. Encouraging collaboration between universities will allow us to share resources, run joint events, and increase our collective influence within the wider Party.

I also believe Labour Students must be more visible on campus. Drawing on my experience of campaigning and coordination, I want to create a regional strategy that challenges extremist politics at universities across the South West and ensures Labour Students are confident and organised where political debate is happening.

Finally, I am committed to campaigning for student voter registration. Increasing registration among students can determine the outcome of marginal seats, particularly in the South West. We know the local elections are going to be tight, so this effort could make the difference between wins and loses across our region.
