For Women's Officer
L1934021
After seeing first-hand the failures of the UK justice system towards women, I have worked to ensure that women’s rights are never an afterthought. We need committed, principled leadership that fights for our safety, dignity, and equality - and that is why I am proud to stand for Women’s Officer for Labour Students. I want to be a visible, active figure who empowers women across our movement, on campus and beyond.
My long-standing involvement in women’s organisations and the Labour Party has shaped my political commitment. I have spoken on women’s rights both domestically and internationally, and I have consistently championed women’s issues across campaigns, events, and activism. I bring not just ideas, but clear, deliverable commitments grounded in experience.
Above all, I want every woman in Labour Students to feel supported, represented, and able to thrive. That means creating dedicated events for our women members, fostering leadership, and ensuring an intersectional approach that reflects the experiences of all women in our movement.
My Pledges:
• An Intersectional approach to campaigning and events, working closely with Labour Students’ liberation officers.
• Run dedicated, inspiring women’s events that help our members develop skills, confidence and political agency.
• Work with regional reps to ensure women-focused organising is strong across the UK- not just London-centric.
• Amplify international solidarity, collaborating with our Youth Labour International Officer to support women and girls globally.
Together, we can build a Labour Students movement where every woman feels empowered, supported, and heard.
