For South East Representative

L3148411

I am running for Labour Students South East Representative because I want to ensure that every student in our region feels included, valued, and able to get involved if they want to.
The South East is a diverse region, with a mix of Russell Group and non-Russell Group universities. No one should feel less confident or less welcome in Labour because of where they study. I want to help build a culture within Labour Students where everyone feels empowered to take up space, contribute ideas, and step into organising and leadership roles.

A key priority for me is strengthening relationships between Labour clubs and societies across the South East. By working together, sharing resources, and supporting one another, we can campaign more effectively, particularly if the May local elections go ahead. Strong regional coordination will help us deliver visible Labour wins and ensure students are fully part of that success.
As a current member of the South East Young Labour Executive Committee and Women’s Officer, I have seen how much stronger our campaigning is when Labour Students and SEYL work together. I will work closely with the SEYL Chair to ensure clear communication, joint campaign days, and mutual support between our structures.

Encouraging more women and non-binary members to get involved is central to my approach, I will work with the Chair of Labour Students and the SEYL Chair to ensure that women and non-binary members are represented at every opportunity.
This role prioritises listening, connection and inclusion.
