For Secretary

L1886927

I'm standing for Secretary because I want to put my experience of leading a university Labour club to work across the country. Our clubs are the backbone of Labour's presence on campus and our youth movement, and they deserve strong organisation, support, and a confident national voice within the Labour Party.
After a year leading King's College London Labour under a Labour government, I've seen both the challenges and the opportunities.
I've worked to build a society that is active, welcoming, and visible on campus - one that members are proud to be part of. Running a club is not easy, especially when Labour is in Government, but it teaches that organising on campus is about support and collaboration - we won't win with gestures.
This is a crucial moment for us. With populist parties seeking a foothold on our campuses, our movement needs to be organised, confident, and to know what we stand for. Labour Students should help clubs feel equipped to organise - a national body felt locally.
I want the focus to be bringing our societies together, strengthening coordination between clubs, and making national structures work for members. Alongside Willow Parker for Chair and Kashvi Khanna for Vice-Chair, we will relaunch the travel fund so campaigning is accessible to all, not limited by cost. Most importantly, we will organise with you - supporting your priorities and representing your voice.
Backing our Organise! team is backing your club, your students, and a stronger Labour presence on every campus.
